Restyling and Expansion Shopping Mall

HomeRetailRestyling and Expansion Shopping Mall

The owner of a large home furniture store decides to expand his store and turn it into the largest homeware shopping mall of Voronezh, a city in central Russia with a million inhabitants. The project stems from the idea of creating a shopping center open to the city, with spaces not only of a purely commercial nature but also recreational and leisure. The new extension of the shopping mall approaches the existing building, creating between the two blocks the shopping mall at full height fully glazed in coverage with on the right, the old shop completely restored and on the left the new extension. On the upper floors there are other commercial spaces, a food court with a large restaurant that overlooks the outside and a private club with a covered terrace on the top floor. The external cladding of the two bodies juxtaposes a zone covered with perforated metal sheet based on a parametric algorithm and a completely full part. An innovative project from the architectural and functional point of view entirely developed in BIM
